Our foster program is the heartbeat of the organization. Without stable, dependable foster parents, we could not continue this life saving work. Typical foster assignments range anywhere from one week to six months, depending on the situation. The Chi Society covers all medical costs and will also provide food if necessary to the foster home. Fostering is an great way to "test drive" a dog if you are considering adopting or a fabulous way to volunteer and really make a difference. Many foster parents tell us that they got more out of the experience than the dog did! It feels wonderful to save a life. We're currently looking for foster volunteers in the Tucson, Arizona and New England area.  If you cannot foster, consider sponsoring a dog while it waits for a forever home.
